Swimming Classes for Adults

Elementary Swimming Course for Adults is intended for adults who cannot swim. You will learn the basic facilities to build your swimming skills on, such as water adjustment, getting wet, floating face down and up, gliding and possibly some elementary swimming techniques. The instructor will follow the guidelines for teaching swimming for beginners.

Objective: learning the basic skills such as staying afloat, water adjustment and gliding.

The course meets 8 times for 45 minute sessions.

Intermediate Swimming Course for Adults

Intermediate Swimming Course for Adults is intended for adults who cannot swim, but who are comfortable in the water and can dive and glide already. The class is taught in the shallow water.

Objective: learning elementary swimming techniques and how to stay afloat longer.

The course meets 8 times for 45 minute sessions.

Swimming Technique Course 1 for Adults

Elementary Swimming Technique Course for Adults is intended for adults who can swim at least 10 meters paddling and using elementary backstroke, but have not learned how to swim with the right technique yet. The aim of the course is to teach elementary swimming techniques thoroughly, such as the right swimming pose and breathing technique but also to emphasize the importance of relaxation.

Objective: to perfect elementary swimming techniques.

The course meets 8 times for 45 minute sessions.

Swimming Technique Course 2 for Adults

Swimming Technique Course for Adults is intended for adults who can swim at least 200 meters. The aim of the course is to perfect swimming techniques. You will learn aspects of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke and then continue on to combining them into one performance as a whole. In addition, turns, start jump and timing the kick and hand strokes are combined to the already learned swimming techniques. Depending on the groups’ abilities, butterfly stroke may also be included.

Objective: learning how to execute swimming techniques and turns and to be able to continue the process of perfecting the techniques independently.

The course meets 8 times for 45 minute sessions.

Swimming Club for Adults

Swimming Club for Adults is intended for those who have already completed swimming technique course for adults. The aim of the club is to promote the positive influence swimming has, to the improvement and maintenance of physical health. In this club, you will do different exercises in the water, using different fitness equipment in the process, and you will learn how to regulate your swimming speed according to the length of the journey, as well as, continue to perfect your swimming techniques.

Objective: maintaining and developing acquired skills in a familiar environment.

The course meets 16 times for 60 minute sessions. You can reserve a place in the swimming club online.
