The Service Provider sells services that are available via its online shop to consumer customers over the age of 18 or the guardians of younger customers. The service prices include VAT. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and the General Terms of Online Sales.

Customer account and bookings via the online shop

The email address provided by the customer when registering functions as the customer account’s user ID for the online shop and booking system. Only one email address can be linked to each customer account. The user ID and password are personal and may not be transferred or otherwise revealed to another party. A minor may have their own customer account, created by their guardian or linked to the guardian’s customer account, for example. The Service Provider handles customer information in accordance with the register description.

Services are purchased via the online shop by moving them to the shopping cart and paying for the shopping cart’s contents via Paytrail Oyj’s online service. Before making a booking, each customer must create a personal customer account and/or an account for their child by registering as a user of the booking system. The customer account shows the services booked and paid for by the customer. All customer information is treated as confidential. Swimming schools, courses and events are paid for when registering for them. The booking is confirmed with a payment transaction.

When making purchases via the online shop, customers are required to have read and committed to the valid terms for online sales and the customer terms and conditions. By paying, the customer accepts these terms.

The Service Provider is liable neither for any technical issues that may disrupt the use of the service nor any damage such technical issues may cause.

Accuracy of the information

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of any information they provide when booking and purchasing a service, and the Service Provider is not liable for any disruptions caused by incorrect information.

A binding agreement is established between the Service Provider and the customer when the customer pays for their chosen service. The online shop’s payment transfer services are provided by Paytrail Oyj (business ID: 2122839-7). Use of Paytrail Oyj’s online service does not require a separate registration or payment of additional fees.

After the payment transaction, the customer is automatically forwarded from their online bank’s website to the Service Provider’s website, where the service order is confirmed. When the Service Provider receives confirmation of the payment being completed, an automatic confirmation notification, which serves as a receipt for the purchase, is sent to the customer’s email. The service is valid only on the time and date indicated in the receipt in accordance with the valid  Terms and Conditions of Customer Contracts. The prices include current VAT.

If the customer does not receive a confirmation notification from the Service Provider regarding a purchase or if the automatic forwarding to the Service Provider’s website after the payment is interrupted, the customer must contact the Service Provider’s customer support service ( or tel. +358 (0)9 3488 6461, on weekdays 8.30 am–4.00 pm).

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted in the online shop:

Online banking credentials

The online payment buttons of all Finnish banks are available.

Card payments (Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard)

When paying with a card, Paytrail Oyj acts as the seller, and the transaction is concluded between the customer and Paytrail Oyj. The Service Provider serves only as the marketer of the services and provides the services and handles potential complaints. When paying with a card, Paytrail Oyj is shown as the payment’s recipient, and it also handles any complaints pertaining to payment transactions.

The Service Provider’s right to cancel course, swimming school and event bookings
The Service Provider has the right to cancel the customer’s booking if the service (course, swimming school, event) is cancelled due to a lack of participants or other force majeure. In this case, the customer is reimbursed for the full purchasing sum, or the service can be exchanged for another service of the same value offered by the Service Provider.

Any restrictions on the use of services that arise from exceptional opening hours or extraordinary circumstances (force majeure) outside of the Service Provider’s control will be reimbursed on a case-by-case basis.

After receiving an order confirmation, the customer must, without delay, check it and make sure that the service described in the order confirmation is the correct one. If the customer notices that this is not the case, they must notify the customer service ( or tel. +358 (0)9 3488 6461, on weekdays 9.00 am–4.00 pm) of the matter immediately after noticing the error.
