Pensioners receive a 15 % discount from single-visit, multi-visit, monthly gym and group exercise cards, supercards, as well as from the 10-visit badminton morning card. Additionally, pensioners receive a hall specific discount from single-visit, multi-visit and monthly swimming cards. The discount is granted for regular-priced services (not from discounted services)

How will I receive a pensioner discount?
You will need to present a Kela card or an equivalent ID card from a pension fund or trust showing pensioner status. If you are 68 years or older, you can just show your personal ID card to get the discount.
You can buy our services at discount prices at our customer service points. We can also add your pensioner discount status to your customer account information, after which you can buy services at pensioner discount prices at our webshop. NOTE! Only pensioner discounts will be available to you at our webshop, if you have a pensioner discount status added to your customer account information. If you wish to buy other discount or campaign services, you will have to make the purchase at the hall customer service point.
NOTE! Part-time or disability pension recipients are not entitled to a discount.
Swimming is included in the price
If you purchase a group exercise or gym card, you can go swimming and visit the sauna after your workout free of charge. At Mäkelänrinne and Vuosaari we charge a small additional fee for swimming after a gym workout (3€ / 2€)

Booking a class and regular spots
You can make class bookings online, at the hall’s customer service point or by calling. You can make bookings if you have a single, multi-visit or monthly card for group exercise and the class has available spots left two weeks ahead maximum of 10 classes. If you have a group exercise day card, you can make bookings for classes held Mon-Fri between 8.30am-2.30pm. If you have a group exercise all day card, you can make bookings for all classes.
If you do not have group exercise services on your account, you can make three separate bookings in a 2-week period by calling or at the hall’s customer service point (not via email).
Pensioners can also book a regular spot for day classes marked with a star (*) that are held Mon-Fri between 8.30am–2.30pm, including Water Exercise classes (not Hydrobic). A 10-visit group exercise card allows one regular class booking per season (fall or spring), a 20-visit card allows two. Monthly card holders can book up to three regular spots for their card's duration (1–6 months). Hall customer service makes the regular class bookings.
Arriving to the class
Remember to be there at least 10 minutes before the class begins. Otherwise the spot you have booked will be released to the first person in the queue. If you are at the entrance gate less than 10 minutes before the class starts, come to our customer service point or check yourself in at the self-service terminal. After the class has begun, entry to the changing rooms through the gate will be closed.
Cancelling a booking
If you cannot attend a class for which you have made a booking, cancel it well in advance either through the booking system or by calling (not via email). Make the cancellation preferably 24 hours but no later than three (3) hours before the class begins. This way you release the spot you have reserved for someone in the queue and avoid any unnecessary charges.
