Our course offers gym training for young people aged 13–15 who are not yet able to access our gyms independently due to the age limit (the age limit for gyms at Urheiluhallit is 15 years).
During the course, participants learn how to use and adjust the gym machines as well as to train with the other equipment and free weights safely under the guidance of an instructor. Each participant also receives their own basic program for gym training. The course is a nice way to learn how to train in the gym with people of the same age, so it is worth coming along with a friend, for example. The course takes into account the young person’s age-appropriate level of development.
After the course, and with the instructor’s approval and parental consent, the participant may continue gym training independently at our facilities, either alone, with a friend, or with family members. The instructor will add an authorization note to the participant’s customer account, after which the young person may continue using the gym independently and buy student-priced services. Gym services can be purchased from the hall’s customer service point.
Courses are organised at the Malmi, Mäkelänrinne and Töölö halls.
Price: 49 € (4 sessions) 60 min or (2 sessions) 120 min
