The Service Provider sells services that are available via its online shop to consumer customers over the age of 18 or the guardians of younger customers. The service prices include VAT. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and the General Terms of Online Sal

The email address provided by the customer when registering functions as the customer account’s user ID for the online shop and booking system. Only one email address can be linked to each customer account. The user ID and password are personal and may not be transferred or otherwise revealed to another party. A minor may have their own customer account, created by their guardian or linked to the guardian’s customer account, for example. The Service Provider handles customer information in accordance with the register description.

Services are purchased via the online shop by moving them to the shopping cart and paying for the shopping cart’s contents via Paytrail Oyj’s online service. Before making a booking, each customer must create a personal customer account and/or an account for their child by registering as a user of the booking system. The customer account shows the services booked and paid for by the customer. All customer information is treated as confidential. Swimming schools, courses and events are paid for when registering for them. The booking is confirmed with a payment transaction.

When making purchases via the online shop, customers are required to have read and committed to the valid terms for online sales and the customer terms and conditions. By paying, the customer accepts these terms.

The Service Provider is liable neither for any technical issues that may disrupt the use of the service nor any damage such technical issues may cause.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of any information they provide when booking and purchasing a service, and the Service Provider is not liable for any disruptions caused by incorrect information.

The payment intermediary of the online store is Verifone Bluecommerse (Verifone Finland Oy, business ID 0943819-9), which is registered in the register of payment institutions maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. You can proceed to payment through Verifone Bluecommerse’s online service.

After the payment has been made, the customer is automatically transferred from their online banking website back to the service provider’s website, at which point the order for the service can be confirmed. When the payment is registered as made to the service provider, a confirmation message is automatically sent to the customer’s e-mail, which serves as a receipt for the purchase. The service is only valid at the time indicated on the receipt in accordance with the terms and conditions of the customer agreement valid from time to time. Prices include VAT in effect.

If the customer does not receive a confirmation message from the service provider about their purchase or the automatic transfer back to the service provider’s website after payment is interrupted, the customer must contact the service provider’s customer service: asiakaspalvelu@urheiluhallit.fi or tel. +358 (0)9 3488 600, on weekdays 9 am–3 pm.

PAYMENT

Only the following payment methods are accepted in the online shop:

The online payment buttons of all Finnish banks are available.

When paying by card, Verifone Finland Oy acts as the seller and the transaction is concluded between the customer and Verifone Finland Oy. The Service Provider only acts as a marketer of the services, delivers the services and handles any complaints. When paying by card, Verifone Bluecommerse or Verifone Finland Oy will appear as the payee, which also handles complaints concerning payment transactions. Verifone Bluecommerse forwards payments to the online merchant. Payment is secure, as all information about the payment transaction is transmitted using an encrypted connection so that no third party can see the details of the payment transaction.

Any services (courses, swimming schools, events, multi-visit and season services) purchased via the online shop are automatically loaded to the customer account created by the customer when registering.

If the item purchased from the online shop is a gift card, the customer will receive it as a file attached to the order confirmation.

If the item purchased from the online shop is a customer card, the customer can collect it at any of the Service Provider’s facilities. Services purchased via the online shop are not subject to separate delivery costs.

  • The 14-day exchange and return right granted under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act does not apply to unused multi-visit and monthly services purchased via the Service Provider’s online shop, as per Chapter 6(16)(11) of the Act. We charge a 10.00 € handling fee for exchanging unused multi-visit and monthly services for another service.

  • However, the Service Provider does grant the following cancellation terms for courses, swimming schools and camps: Any cancellation must be made no later than six weeks (42 days) before the course, swimming school or camp begins. Cancellations any later than this will only be accepted if a medical certificate is presented. We will charge a 10,00 € handling fee for all cancellations.

  • All registrations for events are binding, and cancellations are only granted on presentation of a medical certificate (see Section 12).

Addresses for cancellation notifications:

The Service Provider’s right to cancel course, swimming school and event bookings
The Service Provider has the right to cancel the customer’s booking if the service (course, swimming school, event) is cancelled due to a lack of participants or other force majeure. In this case, the customer is reimbursed for the full purchasing sum, or the service can be exchanged for another service of the same value offered by the Service Provider.

Any restrictions on the use of services that arise from exceptional opening hours or extraordinary circumstances (force majeure) outside of the Service Provider’s control will be reimbursed on a case-by-case basis.

After receiving an order confirmation, the customer must, without delay, check it and make sure that the service described in the order confirmation is the correct one. If the customer notices that this is not the case, they must notify the customer service: asiakaspalvelu@urheiluhallit.fi or tel. +358 (0)9 3488 6461, on weekdays 9 am–3 pm of the matter immediately after noticing the error.

We reserve the right to make changes.
